Back home. Finally back home after almost one year of traveling. Currently we are back in the Netherlands since three weeks and apart from two days it's been one year now that we left home with a single ticket to Miami and a big plan.A plan that changed during our journey. Sometimes a bit, so we could include as many suggestions as possible, sometimes a lot, like we changed our way back home via Mongolia and Russia instead of India and the Middle East. But a fantastic journey it was. We've seen and done so many things! Nevertheless it is fantastic to be back home as well. "It must be strange." everyone says. And the strange thing is that once you think about it, it is indeed very strange. But once you don't think about it, it is as usual. I drink the same (incredible) amount of tea, eat the same breakfast and when I cycle through Amsterdam it is as if I haven't been away from home. It was and is very good to see everyone again. There we saw some big changes! New children, new boy- and girlfriends, promotions, new jobs, new houses, marriages. Name it! No, in that respect - if I think about it - it is indeed "strange" to be back after such a long time!
